About the Festival

Inner Spaces is seeking to create a space to boldly dance forward, to Restore, Release, and Resolve throughout a weekend of focused energy and attention. Some of our favorite local instructors agreed to collaborate, teach and guide the community through healing movements and meaningful discussions. Dance educators and dance enthusiasts are invited to experience this healing and collective awareness. The retreat is designed for us to celebrate each other's talents, express ourselves through our chosen art form of dance and entice stronger network building.

Inner Spaces Dance Festival 2020 will include:

  • an opening event with Michelle Ava and Angela Ingram on Friday, August 28;

  • a wide range of high energy classes and celebratory events on Saturday, August 29;

  • a Saturday night "performance" with Maurice Johnson and social hour to follow;

  • more proactive and healing styles of classes throughout the day on Sunday, August 30;

  • opportunities to speak and engage with instructors through chat circles before and after class

  • a closing event that brings together the momentum to move us forward!

Registration

Registration is free and via Eventbrite. Sign up here!

Inner Spaces is a live, virtual event held on Zoom. Participants will receive the link to the classes via email the day of their ticketed admission. Feel free to attend as many classes as you like throughout the weekend. All are encouraged to attend the Closing Ceremony at 7:00pm, Sunday.
